What we do...

Gates Business Solutions is a web-based provider of products and services doing business with domestic property and casualty insurance companies. GBS offers an end-to-end software suite that allows our customers to enhance service, tighten processes, reduce work effort and reduce the overall expense associated with managing collision claims. This is accomplished via trading partner "Hub" architecture allowing insurance companies to communicate their collision rules, assign new claims, maintain a network of key collision shops, transmit and audit collision estimates and actively manage the process via performance-based reporting.

We are completely conversant with all of the industry providers' estimates (EMS records) and are able to manage estimates from all of the different estimating software. We work with all industry records based on translation of those records into one common format via CIECA (Collision Industry Electronic Commerce Association) methodologies and standards.

What makes us different?

Gates Business Solutions' web-based products and services are fundamentally different from other models:

• We never charge fees to shops.
• We offer completely open networks for insurers allowing them to use our network, their network or some combination of both.
• We believe in clearly communicated and easy-to-understand business rules that are unique to each of our insurance clients.
• Our product runs as a "private label" program. We're not trying to create branding within your claims architecture; we’re simply providing state-of-the-art tools for your company.
• We are conversant in all estimates based on our ability to work with all CIECA records.
• Because of our efficiency, we charge less per transaction and in total expense. We do not charge huge fees for development, nor do we have click charges (where a charge is assessed for each step in the collision process). You will find our pricing easy to understand, easy to budget for and easy to accept.
• We are not a highly leveraged company with heavy financial obligations that require the need to mandate high prices.
• We have all of our developers and management in-house and have not used "contractors" to write any of our code.
• Our company is intentionally focused on our core product offerings.
• We are functionally capable within both the collision repair and insurance industries.
